Dinner
We supply room-service dinners from our farmhouse kitchen. The menu varies according to what's seasonally available from the garden, and the whim of the cook. We can cater to special requirements with some warning - a lovely young man requested his girlfriend's favourite meal, as he was intending to propose. She said yes, so it must have done the trick.
Because we cook everything from scratch using only the best ingredients the meals take a little longer to prepare. Why not start with our famous bread & dips platter with home-made relishes and pickles.

- Green Chicken Curry
- A Thai style classic. Served with Jasmine rice
- Balsamic Lamb Loin
- Lamb loin with a balsamic reduction served on potato cake, with winter vegetables
- Lasagne
- An oldie but a goodie. Served with salad
- Pesto Pasta
- Home-made fettucine with Basil pesto. Bacon optional
- Ice Cream Sundae
- Chocolate or Strawberry
- American Chocolate Brownie
- Served with cream and berries
For lunch, we recommend The Pilgrim's Rest (at the top of the hill) and The Waterford Tavern. There are two cafes in Ashhurst and plenty in Feilding and Palmerston North.
