Most people do absolutely nothing! However there is plenty to do in the area and we have brochures and contact details for most of the activities available. We also supply a small selection of board games and books for the less active.
The Konewa stream runs through our property and you have private access to the lower reaches.
The Pohangina river is just across the road for fishing, tramping and picnicing. Go out early enough and quietly enough and you might see one of the wild deer coming down to drink.
We can supply maps for walkers and trampers - anything from a gentle 20-minute ramble to a hard full-day hike.
And don't miss our neighbours: The wonderful Springvale Gardens and of course Prilgrims Rest Tearooms for lunch or morning/afternoon tea.
